Proposal (front to back, and left to right, should the latter be important):

The Front Line Fighting-men
Gyff
Dax

The Elf and the Magic-user
Isondir
Naevius (Torch-bearer)

The Lady and the Medicine Man
Arnelia
Rodolphus

The Rear Guard
Timoth (Torch-bearer)
Bodin

Feel free to offer suggestions if this is not pleasing. Note that I have no idea what class Arnelia is. Also, who here (besides Naevius) has missile weapons?

Seems sound to me. Isondir has a bow, and will break order to flank to left if the situation allows.

If Isondir is the only other one, we should probably make an effort to pool some gold and buy a bow (or crossbow) for someone before we begin.

That order looks good to me. We need a mapper, too...seeing as we're getting paid by the room mapped, we want a good map to show to Burne.

Dax doesn't have a missile weapon, other than to throw his dagger, although he could certainly use one. If the hobbit comes along he *certainly* should have a bow or sling.

PS. I have no idea yet, who is who, so I would appreciate it if everyone would (at least for now) include their PC's name (and maybe class) in each post.

Embarassed I forgot about the mapper. I would actually enjoy that position* (and let Isondir hold a torch for me) if no one else wants to do it.

*And I'm tech-savvy enough to keep it posted for our reference.

That all sounds good to me.

I was planning on buying Gyff a bow or crossbow after we got some treasure.

I swapped Isondir and Arnelia. I don't want our shooters to be holding torches, and since I haven't figured out her character yet, she'll just hold a torch for now.

Yes, same here. Earn some gold and then spend it on a bow and better armor...that was my plan too. Kill monsters and take their stuff...or if our folks start dying, loot their corpses for their stuff. Smile

As I just mentioned in the First Delve thread, neither Timoth or Arnelia are with the party.

Use this thread to discuss the order you want/choose, but I will only poke my nose in to correct errors like the one you've just made about including the NPCs.

It appears that I made the assumption (and we all know what happens when you assume) that these two would rejoin us the next day, since they were present for the dinner. Oh well.

By the way, I hope you don't disagree, but I find it extremely helpful to have two characters at least holding torches. You never know when one torch-bearer will suddenly fall into a pit or whatever.
